Hanging Lake - June 2013

Hanging Lake, just east of Glenwood Springs. A hike many hear of, many want to take, and many never get around to doing. It's not a difficult hike, (hopefully Julie walking in her knee brace proves that), it's just a long drive to get to from Denver. And parking is extremely limited which means you have to get there early. I believe there is even a parking permit in place now! Once you arrive, the hike has a steep incline, but the views are worth it! To save us some time, we drove out to Carbondale the night before to camp.......make sure you add this hike to your Colorado bucket list!
